Renato Paquali, Head COach, BC Kyiv:
“We played a very good game tonight, especially on defense. However, we lacked a few components, which could have allowed us to achieve a positive result, among which are concentration, offensive rebounds and luck. It was a pleasure to see that the team never gave up and kept hustling till the final buzzer”
Alexander Volkov, President BC Kyiv
“Tonight’s loss is a direct result of mistakes our players made during the game. Firstly, too many turnovers were committed when we were catching up with the opponents. Secondly, we missed too many free throws, which is unacceptable for the players of this level. And thirdly, Edmunds Valeiko and Sergei Chikalkin didn’t help the team on offense at all”
Ioannis Giannoulis, BC Kyiv
“We were ready to win tonight, but, unfortunately, got unlucky. We missed several important shots, didn’t get some necessary rebounds and lacked concentration. It’s tough to talk about these kinds of losses”
Lamarr Greer, BC Kyiv
“We lost for the second time to the same team and this is sad. However, this game was totally different from the game back in Kyiv. This time we had all the chances for a win. We worked hard, hustled and were a team with one common goal - to win”
