The leader in Group A of the FIBA Europe League, Fenerbahçe SK, was in Sofia this evening to take on PBC CSKA before 1500 fans.  CSKA started out sluggish, and the guests were able to capitalize on this and take a six point lead after the first quarter.  

Damir Mrsic and Marc Salyers (both of Fenerbahçe SK) had strong second quarters and contributed to the nine point lead at the half (44-35). 

Despite excellent outside shooting by Desmond Ferguson of CSKA (6 three-pointers, 22 points), the home team was unable to stop Mrsic who finished with 28 points. CSKA drew within three points in the last 90 seconds of play after a three-pointer by Ferguson, however they never managed to get closer.
