BG Dorsten 70 BC Gustino Wels 66

Dorsten started very dominant into the game, even though  three important players were missing with injuries.. With hard defense they forced Wels to shot unsuccesfully from the distance were Dorsten took all the rebounds. Especially Mirka Jarchovska acted very strong  and did a lot of cheeky lay ups. Even though Wels had the larger Center they had no luck even if they were standing right under the basket.

After  8 minutes played Wels Coach Natalia Tcherkasheva went on the court to help her team but without success. The first quarter ended with 25:6 for Dorsten. And it went on during the second as well. The hometeam acted hard in defense and rebounds. Only in the end of the quarter Dorsten made some unconcentrated mistakes so that Wels could make some points and went into the break with 43:23 for Dorsten.

In the second halftime Wels turnes around and acted more secure in shooting points. Donique Graves could use her lenght and took the rebounds. A few times she was fouled and could make a three- point game by making the freeshot as well. Dorsten had to fight not to loose control of their guests. At the end of the third quarter Wels came very close 52:48 for Dorsten.

In the last ten minutes Svetlana Martynova of BG Dorsten made Wels a lot of trouble by shooting from highpost where Graves had Problems to defend Martynova. BG Guard Dorothea Richter shot one three pointer after the other. Even though Wels did not let Dorsten run away again they could not make the final points and so Dorsten won 70:66.
