JDA Dijon 96 - JA Vichy 78

Injury may have kept Rowan Barrett off the court last night, but his absence didn't injure JDA Dijon, as the team defeated JA Vichy by 18 points.

Three defeats this week alone and Barrett's absence would be enough to unnerve any team, but any nerves the team might have had didn't last long. Derrick Davenport dove in, scoring the teams first five points, and the end of the first quarter saw Dijon holding the lead 23-20. Davenport led the team in scoring (21 points) and in rebounds (14).

Bruno Hamm added to the total with two field goals in less than one minute, bringing Dijon to a 32-22 lead. JA Vichy fought hard, but Dijon's defense fought back, not letting their oponents break 34 by the end of the second quarter. However, Dijon reigned in more points, leaving the quarter with 45 points to their name.

Jerome Monnet's nine assists, eight rebounds and one block helped hold off Vichy. Entering the fourth quarter, Dijon was leading 71-62. With a strong momentum and any notion of nerves miles behind them, Dijon ploughed through the fourth quarter, leaving Vichy trailing 96-78.
