NIS Vojvodina 103 SLUC Nancy 81

A strong second half from Serb and Montenegrin club NIS Vojvodina was enough for them to defeat SLUC Nancy 103:81 and move into 2nd place in Group D of the FIBA Europe League.

Homegrown star Milan Gurovic was named MVP of the game for his 21-point performance. He was ably assisted by Nenad Canak who added 20.

Nancy stayed within distance of Vojovodina in the first 2 quarters but after the break the home team pressed their advantage. The lead stretched to 20 points and the pressure on Nancy told.

Head coach Slyvian Lautie was the main victim and he picked up a 2nd technical foul in the 4th quarter, which forced him to the dressing room.

Randolph Childress was Nancy’s top performer with 19 points.
