Despite a solid start by Polonia in which they led 19:14 at the end of the first quarter, Tel Aviv, behind strong play from Virginijus Prasekivicius and Michael Wright, struck back to grab the lead at halftime, 34:32.

The Israeli team took their momentum into the second half, and with 6 minutes to go in the game, they had increased the margin to 9 points, 64:55.

A key 3-pointer from forward Jeff Nordgaard provided the lift that Polonia needed and it was time for Jarutis to perform his game saving heroics. The Lithuanian guard hit from downtown in the 37th minute, to give his team the lead for good.

Jarutis finished the game with 16 points for Polonia. Nordgaard added 25 on a sizzling 9/11 shooting.

Michael Wright top scored for Tel Aviv with 17 points, while Matan Naor had 16.
