By halftime the Greeks led 46:25 and Aris coach Vangelis Alexandris was using the game to give minutes to some of his lesser experienced players.
Aris actually led by 35 points in the 4th quarter (74:39), but much to Coach Alexandris’ chagrin, did not score a single point in the last 7:51, finally finishing 74:53 winners.
Anthony Goldwire earned MVP honours with his 13 point, 5 assist performance. Aris also got a solid display from forward Nestoras Kommatos who scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Andriy Malysh was the only Kyiv player to score in double figures (10 points) as the Ukranians had a very poor shooting night (2/21 three-pointers).
Game MVP: Anthony Goldwire
Mr. Alexandris, Head Coach Aris BSA:
“Some of my players have to understand that they are playing for Aris and the chances to play will be not come so often for them. But on the other hand we played excellent until the end of the third quarter.”

“Our leaders played terribly today.”
Anthony Goldwire, Aris BSA:
