Game-MVP: Ksistof Lavrinovic
Kristof Lavrinovic, Ural Great Perm:
"Aris is a good team with very skilful players. We knew this and worked hard, seriously preparing for today. Our first game against Aris in Greece was difficult and today it was equal. We allowed some mistakes but they made even more and this was crucial for the final result."
Sergei Belov, Head Coach, Ural Great:
"I would call this a good moral victory over a strong European opponent. As a coach I am not satisfied that after having lead 10 – 13 and even 17 points we allowed this difference decrease. Our mistake could deprive us the chances to win but I am glad, that my players found courage and strength to go on and fight. The game was difficult but most important is that we managed to survive it despite everything."
Charles Barton, Head Coach, Aris BSA Thessaloniki:
"The game was very even but Ural Great showed a little bit more of coolness and sharpness and we were more nervous. It was just a small difference but it made decisive impact. We had a chance to win and even though you can never be happy if you loose, I am satisfied with how we showed today."
Fedor Likholitov, Aris BSA Thessaloniki:
"It was a very good game. Having allowed Ural Great grow the point margin by more than ten points we managed to get close and even got a realistic chance to win. Despite the final result I am glad with how my team performed today."
