Telindus BC Oostende 79 CBC Siroki Hercegtisak 88

Belgian club Telindus Oostende continue to struggle at home in the FIBA Europe League and tonight was no different, as they went down to CBC Siroki from Bosnia and Herzegovina, their third consecutive home loss.

Oostende were without starting point guard Mark Dickel, who was sidelined by injury, and as such struggled with their playmaking.

Siroki on the other hand, seemed to have no problems and 6 first half 3-pointers saw them surge into a 14 point lead, which Oostende cut to 8 at halftime, 39:47.

Oostende continued to chip away at Siroki’s lead and got it down to just 4 points in the 4th quarter. However, carelessness with the ball and sloppy rebounding in the closing minutes of the game, allowed Siroki to win.

David Crouse Molina topped his team in scoring with 23 points, along with 11 rebounds.

Tony Dorsey had 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for Oostende. Christophe Beghin added 20 points and 10 rebounds.

I played in Belgium 5-6 years ago for Houthalen. I knew Ostende by reputation as a tough team. I was very pleased with my own game. I have been very inconsistent in my play so far. I hope I can keep my playing on the same level as I did tonight.
