In Gdynia Lotos VBW Clima defeated Pays d'Aix Basket 80:65  and advanced to the Final Four for the second time in three years.

Margo Dydek scored 14 of her season high 33 points in the third quarter to gave Gdynia a 20-point lead before the final quarter. She pulled down 6 rebounds, added 3 blocks, 2 assists, 2 steals and one Game MVP title.

Gdynia, who are the current Polish champions, suffered a heart-breaking 2-point loss in the second game, but made no mistake at home.

As in the first game between the 2 sides, Gdynia established themselves straight away and led by 5-points at halftime. It would be a lead that they continued to build on for the remainder of the game, and in fact, they never trailed.

Aix got to within 7-points in the 3rd quarter, but Dydek rescued her side with 14 points as well as adding some strong rebounding and key blocks on defense.

Quotes Lotos VBW Clima Gdynia - Pays d'Aix Basket
// 10 March 2004

Krzysztof Koziorowicz, Head Coach, Gdynia:

"We played well as a team that's why we won today. We knew sometimes outside shots don't go in so the plan was to use our tall players as much as possible. Margo Dydek and Chesity Melvin were our strong points today. Margo wasn't double-teamed today and she played fantastic one-on-one. Margo showed how she can play basketball today."

Abdou N´Diaye, Head Coach, Pays d'Aix Basket:

"I promised you to return to Gdynia a week ago and here I am. Today it was a very difficult game for us but in my opinion we showed we are not playing at this level of Euroleague competition by mistake.

Congratulations for Gdynia and for Margo Dydek. She played outside and inside, she was rebounding passing, doing everything she could. We had no idea how to stop her today. If she was on my team, we would be in Final four instead of Gdynia.
