Bourges started with their usual five - Fonseca, NDongue, Dumerc, Drljaca, Marcauskaite. For its part, Pecs started with 2 point guards. From the beginning of the game the Hungarians were strong and Branzova opened the scoring. They forged ahead and a 3-pointer from Karolyi put the score at 4-7.

Pecs then unrolled a fluid and efficient game whereas Bourges struggled at the offensive end where skill was simply lacking, and also in defense. In fact, the Hungarians took full advantage of the large spaces left open by the Bourges defensen and as a result, Pecs inflicted a 8-0 run on the local team which took the score to 12-17.
In spite of the substitutions taken by Bourges, nothing changed and the scoreboard became a clear reflection of the game : 19-31. At half-time score was 26-42.
Coming back after the break, Bourges took on responsibility for the game and the local players put a 9-0 at Pecs which could not score during 5 minutes of the third quarter ( 34-42 ). The -10 deficit was suddenly cut and the Prado lit up.
At the beginning of the last quarter, Poto hit a 3-pointer but then the local team appeared to be struggling on offense. After another 3 from Dumerc the temperature rose again, the locals within 4: 49-53.
Dumerc scored yet another three points but at the other end Branzova copied her immediately. Pecs held on for the victory and a 3-pointer from Szakacs put an end to Bourges’ hopes. The final score 58-62.
