A torrid 1st quarter from visiting team Sopron was enough for the Hungarians to score a victory over USK Blex Praha, their first road win of the season.
Sopron put on a clinic in the opening 10 minutes of the game, dispaying perfect defense and flawless shooting. Praha were helpless against the onslaught as the Hungarians raced away to a 9:23 lead.

Praha coach Ivan Benes was forced into taking multiple timeouts to try to disprupt Sopron. His team did improve, but the gap was simply too large for them to make significant headway. Sopron produced a strong 3rd quarter and the result of the game was never in doubt.
Gordana Kovacevic was the outstanding perfomer of the game. She netted 25 points on 12/17 shooting, earning MVP honours.
