BOXSCORE
USK Blex KV Praha 70 UMMC Ekaterinburg 66
// 12 November 2003

USK Blex Praha picked up their first win of this season's EuroLeague Women with a sensational victory over champions UMMC Ekaterinburg.

Forward Jana Kleckova was the hero of the night for the home team and her 3-pointer with 2 minutes to go in the game created the daylight Praha needed to seal the victory.

The first 3 quarters went to form as Ekaterinburg controlled the contest from tip-off, opening the game with a 6-0 run. Praha seemed nervous in the face of the Russian side and by the start of the 3rd period the score was 37:27 in Ekaterinburg's favour.

It was at this point that Praha began to tighten the screws on defense and slowly eat their way into Ekaterinuburg's lead. A 10-2 run allowed them to take the lead for the first time in the game, 39:37.

The remaining minutes were close as both teams traded baskets, neither able to assert their authority on the game.

That was until Kleckova stepped up and hit her third 3-pointer of the night, giving Praha the slight advantage they needed to close the game.

Kleckova finished with 16 points for Praha, as did Martina Pechova.

DeLisha Milton led Ekaterinburg with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
