Croatia wasted no time in showing their favorite status at the U18 European Championship as they thrashed England 88-47 in Group B.
Four players scored in double figures, led by Luka Bozic's 14. Nik Slavica and Ante Zicic both had 12 and Marko Arapovic added 11 points.
Pharrod Gordon scored 16 points for England, who played without Jules Dang Akodo.
Turning point: England were leading 2-1 after 33 seconds and Croatia went on a 16-3 run for a 17-5 lead. England did not get closer than nine points the rest of the way and a 21-0 run spanning the first and second quarters resulted in a 44-11 lead midway through the second period.
