| Ann Wauters is a proven winner. There is no better case in point than considering that Wauters has played in the last seven EuroLeague Women Final Fours and has been a member of the championship-winning team on three occasions (twice with USVO and once with Samara). In the championship game in 2005, Wauters scored a game-high 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Samara to the title in her first season with the club. …. In 2003, Wauters led Belgium to their first EuroBasket Women appearance since 1985. At the competition, she flourished by averaging 18.8 points per game – third-best in the tournament. …. She began her professional career in France playing with USVO from 1999-2002 and 2004. Wauters was named the top Foreign Player of the French League in 2001 and 2002. …. She finished fourth for the FIBA Europe 2005 Player of the Year award and second in 2006.
