There were four games on day eight of the U18 European Championship Women Division B in Miskolc with Germany, Finland, Estonia and Austria all picking up wins.
A blistering final quarter catapulted Finland to a comprehensive 71-41 win against Israel in Group G as the Finns finished with a 27-8 scoreline in the last ten minutes of the game.
Anniina Aijanen was the star of the show with a superb 18 points and 14 rebounds, whilst team-mate Elina Koskimies was on-fire from outside and sunk four triples on her way to 17 points. Eden Porat scored 18 points for Israel.
Also in Group G, Trine Kasemagi put on an absolute master-class for Estonia to fire them to a 67-60 success against Switzerland.
She registered a mammoth 23 points and 17 rebounds for her team, whilst Tiffanie Zali and Miryam Sohm poured in a combined 33 points for the Swiss who were left to regret the impact of 11 missed free-throws.
Meanwhile in Group H, Sara Sagerer dropped 15 points and was on rebound away from a double-double for Austria as they claimed a 72-60 victory over Romania.
Pia Jurhar had a shooting night to forget for the winning team but did a great job on the glass with 18 rebounds. Iulia Raileanu fired 11 points for Romania.
Finally, Germany cruised to a 78-53 win against Scotland off the back of a sensational 30 points and 14 rebounds by Noemie Rouault and also a 24-point contribution from Ama Degbeon. Scotland had Hannah Peacock as their top performer with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
