Regina Palusna

Career: Viktoria Kosice (Slovakia-Extraliga, 2005-06), MBK Ruzomberok (Slovakia-Extraliga, 2006-08), Ros Casares Valencia (Spain-LFB, 2008-09).

Regina Palusna is one of the most talented centers in Slovak women basketball. Unfortunately she broke her right knee last summer and had to undergo surgery. That's why she could not participate in EuroBasket Women qualifying for 2009. Since April she has been training with her new team Ros Casares Valencia. The 20-year-old could participate in her second national team campaign in June. She played for the first time with the Slovak selection during the qualifying round of the EuroBasket Women 2007. During the season 2007-08, she was very impressive in the EuroCup Women with Ruzomberok, averaging 18.7 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
