Katerina Elhotova is a very promising prospect at the guard position. She is above all a very talented scorer. She was the leading scorer of the Czech side that won the U18 European Championship Women in 2006. Then she debuted with the senior national team at EuroBasket Women 2007, and was not even 18-years-old. She can play at both guard position and could benefit from Horakova's absence to gain some playing time. She has already played for three years in the EuroLeague Women with ZVVZ USK Prague, and she also won the Czech league this season.
