Elena Danilochkina

Career: Dynamo Moscow Region (Russia-Superleague, 2002-07), BC Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2007-08), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2008-09).

Elena Danilochkina has already worn many times the Russian jersey as a youngster. She won the U18 European Championship Women in 2002 and the U20 European Championship Women in 2004. In 2006 she was named the Best Young Player of Russia. The 23-year-old clearly is a very promising young player for the Russian national team, but she has never been selected for the senior national team. After a very effective season at BC Moscow, Danilochkina moved to CSKA Moscow this season, averaging 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in the Russian Superleague.
