Romana Vynuchalová

Career: Club Istrobanka Bratislava, Penn St. (USA-NCAA, 2005-06), Flying Foxes Post SV Wien (Austria-AWBL, 2008-09)

Romana Vynuchalova represents the future of the Slovakian national team. Last summer, the 22-year-old was selected by Pokey Chatman for the first time in her career. In her baptism by fire she averaged 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. At her age, her performances can only improve. In 2006 she was a member of the U20 Slovakian national team which won the bronze medal at the European Championship Women in Lithuania. This season Vynuchalova has played for the Wien Flying Foxes, averaging 9.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games against Gran Canaria. Romana is the only child of a former Slovakian player Jamila Vynuchalova.
