Yuliya Dureika

Career: RUOR-Belarussian Junior NT (Belarus-Div. 1, 2002-05), Nadezhda Orenburg (Russia-Superleague, 2005-07), Berezina Borisov (Belarus- Premier League, 2008-09)

Yuliya Dureika is a fan favourite and a proven three-point specialist. Having spent early years of her career in Belarus, she then decided to test her skills and character in the extremely competitive atmosphere of the Russian Superleague. Unfortunately, several health issues interfered and prevented Dureika from playing to her true potential. She missed the 2007-08 season and last summer returned to Belarus where she's managed to work herself back into form and become a strong candidate for a place in the squad that will travel to Latvia in June, with injuries being the main obstacle on her way to fulfilling that ambition.
