While Ana Cacic has not featured prominently for the senior National Team previously, she has always been on the fringes of selection having played at various youth levels for her country and now this lightening quick point guard could be welcomed into the mix. The 1.74m guard has played in European club competitions for nine of the last ten seasons, giving her plenty of experience for her age and she could be ready to establish herself as a valuable role player in the backcourt. While not a prolific scorer, Coach Bralic will have the option to harness her quickness defensively to nullify the threat of opposing guards. Cacic is also a useful rebounder, which shows why she possibly has what it takes to contribute something at the elite level.
