Katsiaryna Snytsina

Career: Gorizont Minsk (Belarus-Div. 1, 1999-02), Calais (France-NF1, 2002-03), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2003-06), Baltiyskaya Zvezda Saint-Petersburg (Russia-Superleague, 2004-05-loan), Dinamo-Energia Novosibirsk (Russia-Superleague, 2006-07), Ust Kamenogorsk (KAZ, 2008), Lotos Gdynia (Poland-PLKK, 2008-09)

Katsiaryna Snytsina has traditionally been a source of energy for her teammates. The Ust Kamenogorsk native always wears her emotions on her sleeve and plays her heart out in every national team game. At the same time, Snytsina is some sort of enigma on the court, as it's sometimes impossible to predict her mood and actions. Still, Katsiaryna is always capable of catching fire and pouring a barrage of her patented high-arching jumpers into the opponent's basket. This season Snytsina was an important player for Polish side Lotos PKO BP, where she teamed up with another Belarusian star Natallia Marchanka to help the club win domestic title as well as reach the Eighth-Finals of EuroLeague Women (she averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in the tournament).
