PLAYER HISTORY
Corry Berger

Career: TV Bensberg (Germany, 1992-2004), Palma de Mallorca (Spain-2.League, 2004-05), Bensberg (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 2005-06), Oberhausen (Germany-Bundesliga, 2006-07)

Corry Berger could be called a late bloomer as it took her a while to utilize her skills.  Standing 1.92 meters tall, Berger was always an impressive player, but not until she played two full seasons in the second division of Spain and Germany did she realize how effective she could be when she uses her strong body. In her fist season with evo NB Oberhausen she averaged 12.3 points per game on a team featuring Germany’s grand dames Marliese Askamp and Sophie von Saldern. Berger is very effective in the post and has a nice mid-range game. At her first EuroBasket, Berger is expected to be much more involved and play heavier minutes than in the qualification round.

  • Ranks #24 in Offensive Rebounds (1.7)
