After missing the 2007 run Gigi returns to wear the national team uniforms, following a great season in the Israeli league with Bnot Hasharon. Three seasons with limited playing time at Ramat Hasharon didn't foretell what would come when she made the move to Bnot Hasharon. Despite her age the league's coaches named her the best rising star of the 2008-09 season and that says it all. A perimeter player who shoots accurately from distance, she can also put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. She is now arguably the best Israeli player in the domestic league and she has shown plans to stick around for a while.
