Petra Ujhelyi

Career: BSE (Hungary-A, 1997-99), University of South Carolina (NCAA, 2000-03), Detroit Shock (WNBA, 2003), Szeviép-Szeged (Hungary-A, 2003-04), Anda Ramat Hasharon (Israel-D1, 2004-06), Arranz-Jopisa Burgos (Spain-Liga Feminina, 2006-07), Galatasaray (Turkey-TBBL, 2007-08), Rivasecópolis (Spain-Liga Feminina, 2008-09)

Ujhelyi is the great traveller of the team: she played in five different countries during her professional career. Petra comes from a basketball family as her parents and older brother were all selected to play for the Hungarian national teams. Her father is a basketball coach in Hungary, at Szekszárd, and so he is her basketball role model. She's more of a rebounder than a scorer, but she collected seven double-doubles (in points and rebounds) in the Spanish Liga Feminina for a Rivasecópolis team that finished third behind Ros Casares and Perfumerías Avenida. Few people know that she won a WNBA title in 2003 with the Detroit Shock.
