Russia: Wauters Outstanding As Volgaburmash Romp

BC Volgaburmash won for the 10th time to remain undefeated in the Superleague Women on Sunday with an 83-60 triumph over Vologda-Chevakata.

The defending Russian and EuroLeague Women champions only led 20-16 after the opening period but blew the game open before half-time and held a 46-30 lead.

They cruised to the victory, with Belgian Ann Wauters scoring a game-high 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

EuroLeague Women side UMMC Ekaterinburg were upset by Dynamo Kursk on Saturday, 65-57. 

Dynamo Moscow won 72-66 over Spartak Moscow Region in their game.
