Ana Lelas

Career: Splicanka (Croatia-A1, 1998-99), Montmontaza Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 1999-2002), Jolly Sibenik (Croatia-A1, 2002-03), Gespe Tarbes (France-LFB, 2003-04), ASPTT Aix-en-Provence (France-LFB, 2004-05), Real Celta Vigo (Spain-Liga Feminina, 2005-06), Mourenx (France-LFB, 2006-07)

Ana Lelas is Croatia's biggest talent. She played in all Youth national team squads, from the U16 European Championship, in 1999 (she then scored 15.6 ppg) to this EuroBasket. Wherever she played, she was among the top scorers. After interdiction to play professional basketball at Montmontaza Zagreb and Sibenik, she moved abroad before she even turned 19 years of age. She than changed three times of teams, spent a season in Spain, but her habits are still the same: she keeps on scoring... Good dribbler, great three point shooter, Ana draws fouls and knocks down her free-throws. Lelas is capable of displaying a fast and attractive game. Younger sister of Zana, one of the best Croatian basketball players of all time.
