Egle Sulciute enjoyed a very fruitful EuroBasket Women 2009 in Latvia where she finished as the leading scorer for the team with nearly 15 points per game. Now 25-years-old, she brings plenty of experience to what will be her third major tournament. She has played in EuroLeague Women and also in both the Italian and Spanish leagues having left Lithuania shortly after being named MVP when she was only 21. She has an Italian Cup winners medal to her name and is a post player who offers plenty of options on offence in and around the basket. It's been a tough season for Real Club Celta Vigo who struggled in Liga Femenina but Sulciute still showed her qualities and you can expect her to do the same for the National Team at EuroBasket Women 2011.
