Russia have found their rhythm and they put on a show against Ukraine, 106-51, becoming the first team to score over 100 points at the Global Vision U18 European Championship.

The Russians are now sure they will stay in Division A, together with the Slovak Republic.

After she started this tournament with a back injury, Alina Zamaraeva showed her great potential and led the Russians with 20 points.

Another four players scored in double digits for Russia in a game that was a total demolition of Ukraine.

Mariya-Margarita Davydova had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Ksenia Tikhonenko added 12 points and 7 rebounds, Galina Kiseleva contributed with 12 and Polina Sych with 10.

Oleksandra Chek finished with 22 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort.
