Finland Buzzer Beater Downs Estonia

Laura Saarinen hit a come-from-behind jumper with five seconds to go in the final quarter that handed a 56-55 win to Finland over Estonia in the second day of action in the GLOBAL VISION U18 European Championship Women Division B in Timisoara, Romania.

Saarinen scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Finland while Marii Pilv led Estonia with 13 points.

England defeated Bulgaria by 67-52 behind Jessica Hurd's 21 points. Bulgaria won the fourth quarter, but couldn't undo the damage done in the first three periods.

Arina Craciun scored 16 points and added 14 rebounds that helped hosts Romania to take the win against Portugal 64-58.

Romania struggled in the third quarter when Portugal outscored them 15-6, but won the final period to secure victory.

Greece defense was too much for Switzerland as the Greeks reached an easy 82-41 victory. They led by 21 point after the first half and never looked back. Artemis Spanou had 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side.
