Greece, Germany Faceoff In Group A

Greece and Germany are headed for an intriguing showdown to determine the winner of Group A at the U18 European Championship for Women Division B.

Both sides are undefeated at 3-0 following the Greeks' 70-45 triumph over Switzerland on Saturday.

Australia won 69-58 over Luxembourg in the group's other game on Saturday with Germany idle.

In Greece's romp, Christina Tsoukala led all scorers with 14 points.

Estonia are the only undefeated team in Group B at 3-0 following a 57-50 over tournament hosts FYR Macedonia.

Kerttu Jallai led the winners with 21 points while Jelena Antik poured in 17 in defeat.

Portugal defeated Slovenia 64-42 in the group's other game.

The Netherlands ran the record to 3-0 in Group C with a 77-51 triumph over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Clara van der Hoek had 29 points to pace the Dutch.

Hungary improved to 2-1 with a 74-55 win over Denmark.

In Group D, Latvia and Belgium cruised to their third successive victories.

Latvia whipped Ireland 91-42 and Belgium beat Scotland 99-24.
