NEWSSerbia pulled away late in the fourth quarter to beat Poland 70-56 and progress to the qualifying round of the UMCOR U18 European Championship for Women as Group C winners.
The tournament hosts had to do without injured duo Nevena Jovanovic and Jelena Mitic but found in last season's tournament MVP, Sonja Petrovic, their guiding light.

Serbia crushed Sweden 81-64 for their second victory in as many days at the UMCOR U18 European Championship for Women.
It took a while for the tournament hosts to warm up, but once they did there was no stopping them.
