Career: Maccabi Ramat Khen (Israel-D1, 2004-05), Bnot Hasharon (Israel-D1, 2005-06), Maccabi Ramat Khen (Israel-D1, 2006-07), Elitzur Maclaren Holon (Israel-D1, 2007-09), Maccabi Hashdod (2009-10), Elitzur Ramla (Israel-D1, 2010-11)
Preparing for the challenge of a third successive EuroBasket Women tournament, Zairy has been carrying out her duty as a role player coming off the bench for Coach Rabbi for a number of years and to great effect. She has never let the National Team down in any way and is a great team player whose best work is often off the ball and at the defensive end. Even at youth level when Zairy was a Division B Winner back in 2006, she was showing her value in the same way. Not a natural scorer at this level, she still brings plenty to the table and particularly the kind of defensive qualities that can prove really useful for any coach. She has won domestic trophies in Israel and has just completed her first season in EuroCup Women by playing a key role in helping Elitzur Ramla to the top of the podium. |
