Milica Beljanski

Career: Nis Vojvodina Novi Sad (Serbia-A1, 1998-2003), Crvena zvezda Belgrade (Serbia-A1, 2003-04), Pasta Ambra Taranto (Italy-A1, 2004-05), Nis Vojvodina Novi Sad (Serbia-A1, 2005-06), Basket Cavezzo (Italy-A1, 2006-07), Saint-Jacques Sports Reims (France-LFB, 2007)

Beljanski has always been a member of youth national teams, winning silver in 1999 at the U16 European Championships. Still she has never been able to have such success with the senior team. The Novi Sad native is a very good three-point shooter and she also has a great percentage from the line. Going to the basket, she can hurt teams because she has great skills and can use both hands. She suffered a bit in her first experience abroad (only 4.4 ppg in 2004-05, while playing for Taranto, in Italy), but she tried her luck with better success last season (14.6 ppg in Cavezzo) after returning to her youth side, Vojvodina, in 2005-06. Milica has just signed a contract with Reims, giving her the chance to play in one of Europe’s best leagues, the LFB.
