Dara Kovacevic is one of Serbia’s most experienced players and fills a crucial position, center, making her one of the key player in the game strategy of coach Antonic. Although she's been highly recruited by a lot of European clubs, Dara has choosen to remain at Hemofarm Vrsac, her beloved club and the best team in Serbia for the last couple of years. She learned her fundamentals in Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) Belgrade, before moving to Hemofarm. At 1.97 m she can dominate inside the paint but she can also score from mid-range and is an above average free-throw shooter (80% in the Serbian league last year), a very important factor for an inside player.
