The ‘running man', Omer Onan is yet another veteran player for Turkey who just keeps showing his longevity by maintaining his high standards and some may argue getting even better with age. Known for his capacity to outstrip most players when it comes to quickness down the floor, he is also a tenacious perimeter defender who won't allow any opponent to take liberties on offence. He just loves to finish on the fast break and is often a good option in transition as he loves to finish clinically. He also has a decent mid-range game which has got more consistent over the years and he can also skip to the hoop when he sees an opportunity. He is an absolutely rock solid option for Turkey and has a wealth of experience of playing almost every year in EuroLeague with both Efes Pilsen and, Fenerbahce where he has won a glut of silverware.
