The best of the big German centers. The whole package. Fermerling could have probably had a great career in the NBA. He has a rare combination of size, strength and an improving soft touch. More than anything, he is a true center. He likes to hustle and play inside. He always look to get closer to the basket, tries to be a presence in the paint, on both ends of the floor. He maybe lacks a little athleticism but he’s a great rebounder and a decent shot blocker. (In only three years, he’s the third best shot blocker in the history of Washington.) Throughout his top Euroleague team experience, he has also developed a good passing game. Patrick is a great worker, and has a great sense of team spirit and self sacrifice. |
