Montenegro clinched a spot in the EuroBasket Division B play-offs with a resounding victory over Austria in Oberwart on Saturday night.
Panathinaikos center Nikola Pekovic led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points as the Montenegrins cruised to an 86-63 victory to seal first place in Group A.
Dusko Vujosevic's team remained unbeaten with six wins in as many games in Division B.
Every other team in the group has at least three defeats.
In another Group A game, Iceland stormed out to a big half-time lead and then survived a third-quarter collapse to beat the Netherlands.
Jon Stefansson had 23 points for Iceland in their 87-75 victory.
Iceland appeared to have secured an easy victory after taking a 59-31 advantage at the half, but Gadi Kedar's team made things interesting after clawing their way back to 66-55 by the end of the third quarter and then getting as close as 10 points on three occasions in the final frame.
The home side held on for the win, doing serious damage to the Netherlands' bid of reaching the Division B play-offs as the best second-place team.
