Czech Republic coach Jan Bobrovsky hailed his side's performance after a 76-66 win over Spain put them into Sunday's EuroBasket women final with Russia.
Bobrovsky considered the Czechs had produced their best performance of the tournament.
He said: "This was the best performance of my team in this tournament.
"Spain were very strong opponents but we controlled the game throughout except the first few minutes when Spain took a three-point lead.
"Spain reduced our lead to six points from 14 in the end but I was still sure we would reach the final."
Star player Eva Nemcova said: "The game against Turkey was much easier than this one. We were tired and the referees did not help us but we are in good shape and will fight with Russia for gold.
"It was good that we did not panic when Spain reduced our lead to six points in the end. We showed that we are experienced enough."
