Olga Arteshina

Career: CSKA Samara (Russia-Superleague,1997-2007), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague,2007-08)

Arteshina has enjoyed the fruits of success since her teens. At only 17 she was called-up for the 2000 Olympics and even gained some playing time in Sydney. Three years later Arteshina was still the youngest member of the team, and a starter for the gold medal winning Russian team at EuroBasket Women 2003. She can shoot the lights out from anywhere on the floor. A member of the All-Tournament Team in Chieti two years ago, Arteshina played for the CSKA farm club VBM SGAU this spring after having her baby and now seems ready to return to the senior squad.
