Career: Varese (Italy-A1, 1998-99), Como (Italy-A1, 1999-2006), Ribera (Italy-A1, 2006-07). Schio (Italy-A1 2007-09)

"Chicca" may have been overtaken by Ballardini in the role of the true star of this team, but that has not diminished the player once described by the Los Angeles Sparks as the "Italian Phenomenon." Full of imagination and versatility, she certainly needs it with opposing coaches trying often in vain to lock her down. Showed her class while on home turf in 2007 when she finished as the top scorer averaging double digits and the same kind of contribution would be welcomed again. Can easily score quickly in bunches from both inside and out and remains a cornerstone of the Italian team. Picked it up in EuroLeague Women for Schio and averaged 11 points per game in an impressive campaign. Now a veteran she is using all of her experience to keep adding new dimensions to her game on the court. Macchi is a major weapon for the Azzurri.
