A number of brilliant performances over recent years made it almost impossible to imagine Anatoli Buyalski's team without Natallia Marchanka running the point. Take jaw-dropping speed, quickness and court vision, mix it with an almost impeccable shooting stroke, spice it all up with desire to be a leader both on the court and in the locker-room - and you'll get the idea of how much the 1.65m guard means for Belarus. No wonder she was named to the All-Tournament of the 2007 EuroBasket Women. For the bigger part of the 2008-2009 season Natallia has been just as irreplaceable for her club Lotos PKO BP, and though her playing time dwindled somewhat in spring, Marchanka still helped her side win the PLKK League and reach the Eighth-Finals of EuroLeague Women where she finished fourth among all players in assists (4.9) and seventh in three-point percentage (45.7%).
