Ros Casares captain Elisa Aguilar has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep her with the club through the 2008-09 campaign.

The Spanish international guard, who will be on show at the EuroLeague Women All-Star Game being hosted by Ros in Valencia on March 8, joined the team in the 2002-03 season and has been a vital part of its success ever since.

She is averaging 9.9 points per game this season in the EuroLeague Women.

In the team's eighth-finals clinching 67-57 triumph at Wisla Can-Pack Krakow last week, Aguilar poured in 15 points, dished out four assists, grabbed four rebounds and came up with two steals.

Carme Lluveras, the Ros general manager, said: "For the club, it was very important to secure the continuity off Elisa Aguilar because she is one of the pillars of our project.

"We are extremely satisfied to be able to continue to count on her because she will help us to give continuity in our ambition."
