Pride is about the only thing on the line for Romania when they face Belgium in their final Group B game at the 2007 EuroBasket Women. The 0-2 Romanians have already been eliminated from the competition and would love to leave Lanciano on a high note.

The Belgians also have nothing to play for as they already secured first place in the group and a perfect two victories moving onto the qualifying round.

Maria Pascalau (Romania)
Maria Pascalau will have a chance to test herself against one of the best post players in the world.
Last Time Out:
Belgium held off Germany 61-53 while Romania struggled to a 67-50 loss against Lithuania.

Key Match-Up: Ann Wauters vs Maria Pascalau. Romania's only real solid performer at this tournament (averages of 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds) will get the chance to prove herself against one of the best low post players in the world.

X-Factor: Belgiums bench. With Belgium already secured first place in the group, coach Laurent Buffard will surely allow his role players to get some experience to prepare them if needed later in the tournament.

Stats: Romania shot just 24% from the field against Lithuania and have averaged 21 turnovers in their two games. Belgium meanwhile have committed just 22 turnovers total in two games.

Sounding Off: Romania coach Marc Silvert: "It's no fun to play a game that means nothing. Not for us or Belgium. Maybe we can learn something though."
