Irish Women Face Norway in Euro Test

Basketball Ireland has announced the pre-European Championship programme for its senior women's side.

The women host Norway for two friendly games one in University of Limerick Sun Sept 12th and the other in Mercy Waterford Mon Sept 13th.

The first game of their European Championship campaign follows with a trip to Sweden on Sept 18th and then they return home to play their first ever European Championship games on home soil. 

Their first home game will be against Estonia in University of Limerick (the home of the superleague champions) Wed Sept 22nd at 19:30. They then move to Dublin to play Luxembourg in the ESB Basketball Arena at 19:30. 

The Senior Women will have the services of Basketball Ireland’s player of the year Michelle Aspell and former WNBA player Susan Moran (New York Liberty).
