There will be few more experienced campaigners at EuroBasket Women 2011 than Belarus captain Nataliya Trafimava. She has a lengthy and impressive track record with the National Team and remains one of the core players that delivered podium success at EuroBasket Women 2007. Much of that is down to her production at both ends of the floor, and most crucial of all, the consistency she has shown over her career. As well as her impressive longevity, she adds flexibility to the team by being able to play a number of positions. She can either fill the small forward spot where she is probably most comfortable, or she can step outside and rain three-pointers. In fact she can even step up and do the hard work in the paint to ensure Belarus aren't out-muscled on the boards, and that kind of versatility can't be under-estimated. A super performer for a long time, Trafimava is best known on the club scene for her affiliation to the Polish League where she has won Championships and been an influential player for a number of clubs.
