This powerful center knows what it feels like to play at a EuroBasket Women Final Round, though not in a Montenegro vest - something she will now put right. She played at EuroBasket Women 2003 as a young player and had a reasonably good tournament. Since then she has developed an impressive resume to which she recently added the Polish Cup which she won in March of this year. Milka Bjelica is a player who despite playing center, does not mind stepping off the block and going outside to shoot the three ball. With impressive mobility, lots of skills and a positive outlook, Bjelica is a key member of the team and will play a lot of minutes with Montenegro benefitting from her vast experiences in EuroLeague Women, EuroCup and of course EuroBasket Women. |
