One of the veterans whose career spans more than a decade, Liad Suez-Karni first turned out for the National Team as a teenager and is now the captain of the team. She top scored at EuroBasket Women 2007 and also topped the steals chart for her side but her aggressive and intelligent defence isn't her only asset. She is a good three-point shooter and ever since she went to college at Villanova, where she recorded the first triple-double in the history of the program, she has been continually producing big performances at all levels. While rebounding is not her forte, her quick hands in the lane can help her come up with some key stops and she remains one of the cornerstones of the team.
