The Israelis claimed a confidence-boosting 69-58 win over Olympic-bound Spain on Wednesday in the Moscow Tournament.

Israel, who are warming up for their EuroBasket Women 2009 qualifying games against Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania and Great Britain, went into the final quarter trailing 46-44 but outscored the Spanish 25-12 over the final 10 minutes.

Liron Cohen had 20 points while Anna Montanana had a game-high 25 for Spain, who did not have EuroBasket Women 2007 MVP Amaya Valdemoro in the line-up.

Israel played at last year's EuroBasket in Italy after winning a spot in the Additional Qualifying Tournament.
